We are a 100% volunteer run program dedicated to helping those in need.
Our mission is built on the simple notion that one act of kindness can change everything.
Our vision is to encourage a community that may be in need and receiving help today to continue the gift of giving by paying it forward in the future.
We began as a group of like-minded individuals known as the North Texas Firewalkers and were inspired by Tony Robbins’ belief that the secret to living is giving. Tony Robbins is an entrepreneur, best-selling author, philanthropist and the world’s #1 life and business strategist.
To give to our local communities, we initially teamed up with the Dallas Basket Brigade and fed 240 and 270 families for Thanksgiving in 2015 and 2016, respectively. With the expansion of volunteers and donors, the Baskets For Good organization was established in 2017 and independently fed 247 families for Thanksgiving that year.
Baskets For Good became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2018.
